Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of fuel inert gas generating equipment for coal mines. This standard applies to inert gas generating devices that use the principle of fuel deoxygenation to produce wet mixed inert gas (hereinafter referred to as inert gas devices) used to prevent fires and suppress gas explosions in coal mines.
