Scope
This document describes the method of obtaining liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) samples using sampling bottles. This document is applicable to the sampling of LPG under non-refrigerated conditions, and is used as a reference for the sampling of by-product LPG in processes such as natural gas processing and coal chemical industry under non-refrigerated conditions. This document is not applicable to providing samples for trace analysis of low-boiling point components in LPG. Note: ASTM D3700 gives the sampling method for samples for trace analysis of LPG.
