Scope

This standard specifies the test method for measuring the friction coefficient and anti-wear performance of extreme pressure lubricants using an SRV testing machine under high-frequency linear vibration conditions. This standard is also applicable to the determination of friction coefficient and anti-wear properties of non-extreme pressure lubricants under similar test conditions. This standard uses International System of Units [SI] units.
