Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of hindered phenolic antioxidant content in new or in-use zinc-free turbine oils. This standard adopts linear scanning voltammetry and is suitable for the determination of hindered phenolic antioxidant content in the concentration range from 0.0075% (mass fraction, calculated as 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol) to new oil.
