Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the total active sulfur value in light petroleum fractions using potentiometric titration. This standard is applicable to light petroleum fractions with a total active sulfur value ranging from 3.0 mg/kg to 400.0 mg/kg and a final boiling point not greater than 350°C.
