Scope
This standard specifies a method for the determination of total volatile sulfur in gaseous hydrocarbons and liquefied petroleum gas using ultraviolet fluorescence method. This standard is applicable to the analysis of sulfur content in gaseous hydrocarbons and liquefied petroleum gas in raw materials, intermediate products and final products. The precis on verification range for gaseous hydrocarbons is 1 mg/kg ~ 100 mg/kg, and for liquefied petroleum gas it is 1 mg/kg. ~196 mg/kg. This standard is applicable to the analysis of total volatile sulfur in liquefied petroleum gas with a halogen mass fraction of less than 0.35%. This standard does not apply to the detection of non-volatile sulfur-containing compounds.
