Scope

This part specifies the models, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for nickel-based alloy welding wires and filler wires (hereinafter referred to as welding wires) used in level 1, 2 and 3 equipment of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This section applies to nickel-based alloy welding wires for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) of level 1, 2, and 3 equipment in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
