Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the installation and inspection of penetrations (mechanical penetrations and electrical penetrations) on the containment of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This standard applies to the installation and inspection of penetration parts on the containment of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, including: unpacking inspection, transportation, assembly, welding, detection, testing, and inspection. Other reactor-type nuclear power plants can follow suit.
