Key technical requirements
Material storage: All plugging materials should be stored in a moisture-proof environment at a temperature of 5-27℃, and silicone materials should be kept away from light (Standard Clause 6.2).
Construction control: The treatment of mixed holes should follow the principle of solid separation first. When separation is not possible, the pipeline plugging material should be used for overall treatment (Standard Clause 5.4).
Analysis of implementation difficulties
Typical problems: The sealing of holes in the biological shielding area must meet the dual standards of radiation protection and fire resistance. It is recommended to adopt a layered construction process:
- First cast the radiation shielding concrete base layer
- Lay fireproof plaster in the middle layer
- Surface is treated with silicon cloth
Key points for quality acceptance
According to Clause 8.2 of the standard, the acceptance must include:
- Material consistency check (using products from the same manufacturer for the same hole)
- Sealing density detection (ultrasonic or radiographic testing)
- Functional Verification (Fire Test/Radiation Shielding Test)
