Scope

This specification is compiled to ensure the normal operation of the control, protection, measurement and signal systems of hydropower plants and meet the needs of safe and stable operation of hydropower plants in the design of secondary wiring of hydropower plants. This specification is applicable to the secondary wiring design of newly built, rebuilt and expanded hydropower plants with a single unit capacity of 800MW and below, a total installed capacity of 50MW and above, and an outlet voltage level of 750KV and below; this specification is not applicable to the special design of secondary wiring of hydropower plants designed in an unmanned mode. In addition to complying with this specification, the secondary wiring design of hydropower plants shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant current national standards.
