Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of spinning fis ing reels. This standard applies to spin-type fis ing reels (hereinafter referred to as "fis reels") used to take in and pay out the line when fis ing with fis ing rods. This standard does not apply to other types of fis wheels.
