Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of fatty alkyl dimethyl betaine. This standard applies to alkyl dimethyl betaine zwitterionic surfactant products produced by the reaction of dodecyldimethyltertiary amine or tetradecyldimethyltertiary amine and sodium monochloroacetate.
