Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for soap. This standard applies to fatty acid sodium soap produced by the grinding process, and bar soap made of fatty acid sodium and/or other surfactants, functional additives, and auxiliaries.
