Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of sheet-fed offset printing inks (except matte and synthetic paper inks). This standard applies to offset sheet-fed inks used on single, double or multi-color offset printing machines to print pictures, trademarks and other substrates on paper, film and other substrates.
