Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of tungsten carbide balls for ballpoint pens. This standard applies to tungsten carbide balls for ballpoint pens (hereinafter referred to as "balls") with a nominal diameter of 0.25 mm to 1.60 mm.
