Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of tooth whitening gel. This standard applies to non-medicinal gel products with peroxide as the main active ingredient and high molecular polymer as the gel agent, with the main purpose of tooth whitening. This standard does not apply to toothpaste products with teeth whitening effect that are used in conjunction with a toothbrush.
