1 Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for alkylphenol ethoxylates (octylphenol polyoxyethylene ether OPnEO and nonylphenol ethoxylates NPnEO) in footwear products and components.

This standard is applicable to all footwear products and components.

Table 1 in GB/T 29292-2012 specifies the material containing these substances in footwear products and components.

3 Principles

Use methanol to conduct ultrasonic extraction of alkylphenol ethoxylates in the sample, use hydroiodic acid to position and pyrolyze, purify by solution-solution extraction technique and then dehydrate and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and liquid chromatography respectively.
