Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of motorcycle and moped rims. This standard applies to rims for spoked wheels for motorcycles and mopeds made of steel or light alloy. Rims for spoked wheels for motorcycles and mopeds made of steel or light alloy may also refer to this standard. This standard does not apply to rims manufactured by casting methods.
