1 Scope

This standard specifies the test procedure, test method, test result analysis and report of durability test for catalytic converters of motorcycles and mopeds on road and engine bed.

This standard is applicable to catalytic converters of motorcycles and mopeds.

3 Terms and definitions

catalytic device mounted in the motorcycle exhaust system, which can reduce the emissions of carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) in the exhaust system through the reduction or oxidation reaction of catalyst
