Scope

This standard specifies the basic dimensions, performance and material requirements for single bell mouth metal pipes (hereinafter referred to as "metal pipes"), threaded holes, threaded joints and hose end joints used in hydraulic braking systems of road vehicles. This standard applies to road vehicles equipped with hydraulic braking systems.
