Introduction

Core changes in the standard revision

Technical indicators Requirements of the 2007 version Requirements of the 2024 version Range of change
Low temperature resistance Not specified -40℃±2℃ maintained for 10h New clauses
Sealing test Wet detection priority Dry detection method is mainly used Method change
Residue limit 20mg 15mg Strictly 25%

Analysis of key performance requirements

4.3.1 Sealing requirements

The new standard clarifies the welding repair process specifications: The heat sink must not be burned during the welding process, and the collapsed heat sink must meet the requirement of ≤1% of the collapsed area in Clause 4.2.2 after repair.

4.3.5 Low temperature resistance test

Newly added -40℃ extreme cold environment test:

  • Use antifreeze with freezing point ≤-45℃
  • Low temperature holding time 10h±10min
  • Detection is based on QC/T468 wet leak detection method

Test method innovation

Wind duct test device specification

Appendix B specifies the key parameters of the test device: Transition section angle:Diffusion angle θ≤8°, convergence angle δ≤15°
Wind speed control:Adjustable range of 25-30m/s
Water temperature fluctuation:Precise control of ±0.2℃

Structural parameter calculation model

Appendix A of the standard provides four core calculation formulas:

  1. Heat dissipation Q=0.1~0.16×fuel thermal energy
  2. Air flow rate V=Q/(Δt·ρ·C)
  3. Positive area A=V/Vp
  4. Coolant circulation volume Vw=Q/(Δtw·ρw·Cw)

Implementation suggestions

Manufacturers need to pay attention to:

  • Establish a -40℃ low temperature test room
  • Upgrade dry leak detection equipment
  • Optimize welding process to prevent damage to heat sink
  • Use turbine flowmeter and other instruments specified in Clause B.2
