Design specification for lifting appliance of solid rocket motor

1 Subject content and application scope

This specification specifies the design basis, design criteria, design procedures, design contents and design methods, verification test items and requirements, etc. of solid rocket motors (hereinafter referred to as “motors”).

This specification is applicable to the design of lifting appliance used in charge, final assembly and transfer of motors, and may be referred to for the design of other lifting appliance of motor.

special appliance used for connecting hoisting equipment with the motor to be lifted and meeting the lifting requirements of the motor

3.2 turning appliance
lifting appliance capable of changing the motor from vertical (or horizontal) state to horizontal (or vertical) state

3.3 single hook appliance
lifting appliance that can only complete the lifting function of the motor in horizontal (or vertical) state
