1 Subject content and application scope

This specification specifies the design basis, design criteria, design procedures, design contents and design methods, verification test items and requirements, etc. of solid rocket motors (hereinafter referred to as “motors”).

This specification is applicable to the design of lifting appliance used in charge, final assembly and transfer of motors, and may be referred to for the design of other lifting appliance of motor.
