Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

This standard establishes a three-level risk prevention and control system for the special environment of tourist attractions: high-risk area (rolling ball radius 60m), medium-risk area (100m), and low-risk area. The key protection objects include:

Protection objects Requirements for high-risk areas Requirements for medium-risk areas
Spacing between lightning protection pavilions on the walking path ≤100m ≤150m
Grounding resistance value ≤20Ω ≤30Ω
Surge protector grade Grade I classification test Grade I classification test

Key technical requirements

1. Special provisions for lightning termination devices

2. Electrical system protection

High-risk areas must implement the full protection measures in Section 4.3 of GB 50057-2010, including:

  • SPD impulse current ≥12.5kA (Class I)
  • Metal guardrail grounded every 25m
  • It is prohibited to hang cables on lightning poles

Implementation suggestions

Typical case: Lightning protection transformation of mountain scenic spots

A 5A-level scenic spot achieved zero lightning accidents for five consecutive years by:

  1. Deploying 12 atmospheric electric field meters (spacing 8km)
  2. Setting up lightning shelters every 80m on the cliff trail
  3. Using double-shielded cables for the cableway system

Annual inspection focus

According to the requirements of Article 7.1 of the standard, it is necessary to inspect: ①Corrosion of lightning arrester ②Change in grounding resistance ③SPD leakage status
