Introduction

Standard Background and Technology Evolution

QX/T 271-2015 is the first special maintenance standard for the optical attenuation method atmospheric particulate matter absorption photometer in the meteorological industry, filling the gap in the operation and maintenance specifications of aerosol optical property observation equipment. This standard inherits and develops the optical measurement principle of QX/T 168-2007, and combines the meteorological observation business practice from 2012 to 2014, and for the first time systematically stipulates the maintenance indicators for the entire life cycle of the instrument.

Filter replacement mechanism

The standard innovatively proposes a double trigger mechanism: when there is a continuous negative measurement for 6 hours or the filter is used for 3 months, it is forced to be replaced. The actual measurement of the Beijing Meteorological Bureau shows that this mechanism can increase data efficiency by 23%.

Dust emergency response

Special regulations for sandstorm weather: A full set of cleaning must be completed within 6 hours after the process ends, including:
1. Dust removal on internal and external surfaces
2. Cleaning of cooling fans
3. Deep cleaning of the optical path measurement room
