Introduction

Standard Background and Industry Significance

QX/T 467-2018, my country's first industry standard specifically for micro-dropsondes, fills a gap in the standardization of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) meteorological detection equipment. Developed by the China Meteorological Administration in collaboration with China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), the standard reflects advances in microsensor and satellite positioning technologies made in the 2010s.

Analysis of Core System Architecture

ModuleTechnical RequirementsInternational Benchmark (WMO No.8)
Satellite NavigationHorizontal Error ≤10m, Update Rate 1Hz15m/20m (Horizontal/Vertical)
Temperature Sensor±0.3℃(-60~50℃)±0.5℃
RF Communication400-406MHz/100mW403MHz/200mW

Detailed explanation of key performance indicators

Environmental adaptability requires the equipment to operate normally within the temperature range of -60℃~50℃ and the air pressure conditions of 300-1060hPa, meeting the detection needs of the entire airspace from the stratosphere to the ground. Typical application scenarios include:

  • Typhoon eye detection: must withstand 100%RH humidity and 15m/s drop impact
  • Polar scientific research: ensuring battery life in -60°C low temperature environments

Implementation Recommendations and Compliance Points

  1. Equipment selection should focus on verifying that the cold start time of the satellite navigation receiver is ≤1min
  2. The data format must be compatible with the QX/T234-2014 archiving specification
  3. Regularly calibrate the humidity sensor; the allowable error is doubled above 80%RH
