This standard systematically specifies the technical requirements and quality control system of automatic weather stations, mainly including:

  • Modular architecture: clearly defines the five-layer architecture composed of sensors, collectors, peripheral equipment, etc.
  • Adaptability to harsh environments: defines 9 types of environmental indicators such as temperature (-50℃~60℃), humidity (4%~100%), and electromagnetic compatibility
  • Data quality standards: specifies sampling frequency (wind speed 240 times/min), algorithm verification and quality control process

  1. Select a configuration of severe level 3 (-50℃ low temperature/450hPa low pressure)

  3. Strengthen lightning protection design (meet GB/T17626.5 surge immunity)

  • Clock calibration: The error must be <15 seconds every 30 days. It is recommended to configure Beidou/GPS dual-mode timing
  • Power management: The battery must support -30℃ low temperature startup and have a capacity ≥7 days of battery life
