The standard divides weekly geomagnetic activity into 4 levels:
- Quiet level (Kw<1961): corresponds to conventional space weather conditions
- Slight disturbance level (1961≤Kw<3331): may affect high-frequency radio propagation
- Moderate disturbance level (3331≤Kw<6595): causes polar ionospheric scintillation
- Strong disturbance level (Kw≥6595): threatens satellite orbit control and power grid security

The weekly report on November 30, 2020 shows that Kw=4213, which is a moderate disturbance level. Actual observations:
- Shortwave communication interruption in Northern Europe for a total of 17 hours
- Surface charging events of GEO orbit satellites increased by 40%
- Quebec power grid in Canada triggered a level 3 warning

Monitoring network construction: It is recommended to add geomagnetic monitoring stations in Hainan and Xinjiang to improve China's regional observation capabilities

Warning threshold: It is recommended that the power system activate the protection plan at the medium disturbance level, and the aerospace department adjust the on-orbit attitude at the strong disturbance level
