Scope

This standard specifies a test method for evaluating the lubricity of diesel fuel (including those containing lubricating additives) using a high-frequency reciprocating tester (HFRR). This method is suitable for diesel engine fuel. The use of this standard will involve hazardous materials, operations and equipment. This standard does not address all safety issues involved in use. Therefore, users should establish appropriate safety and protective measures and determine an applicable management system before using this standard.
