Scope

This standard specifies the titration method for the determination of acidity of industrial aromatic hydrocarbons. This standard is suitable for the determination of acidity of industrial aromatic hydrocarbons, with a minimum determination of 0.4mgNaOH/100mL. This standard is not applicable to the determination of acidity in dark aromatics. This standard is not intended to address all safety issues related to its use.
