Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for types, dimensions, tolerances, technical conditions, inspection and testing of spiral wound gaskets for petrochemical steel pipe flanges. This standard applies to the manufacture and acceptance of spiral wound gaskets for nominal pressure PN20 (Class 150) ~ PN420 (Class 2500) pipe flanges specified in SH/T 3406 "Petrochemical Steel Pipe Flanges".
