Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the selection, inspection and acceptance of samplers for steel vertical storage tanks. This standard is applicable to the selection, inspection and acceptance of samplers for steel vertical storage tanks in new construction, reconstruction and expansion projects of petrochemical industry, coal chemical industry or petroleum depot. It is not suitable for the selection, inspection and acceptance of samplers for low-temperature and normal-pressure storage tanks.
