Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for type, size, material, manufacturing, inspection and testing of forged steel socket weld and threaded unions. This standard is applicable to the manufacture and acceptance of forged steel socket welds and threaded unions for petrochemical pipelines with a nominal diameter less than or equal to DN80 and a pressure level of CL3000.
