Scope

This standard specifies the main dimensions of square cores (RM cores) made of magnetic oxides in terms of mechanical interchangeability, as well as the limit dimensions of the coil bobbin matched with the core and its pin positions, which are consistent with the bottom contour of the core. Relevant. and conforms to 2.54 mm printed circuit grid. This standard also specifies the main parameter ranges of standard inductance measurement coils for testing. General considerations for designing this type of core are given in Appendix A.
