Scope
1.0.1 This regulation is formulated to standardize technical standards for pit exploration in water conservancy and hydropower projects and to ensure construction safety and quality. 1.0.2 This regulation applies to pit exploration in water conservancy and hydropower projects, including exploration pits, trenches, chambers, and wells. 1.0.3 The mission of pit exploration is to uncover geological phenomena through pits, trenches, chambers, and wells, providing conditions for observing geological phenomena, collecting rock (soil) samples, and conducting in-situ testing. 1.0.5 In addition to complying with this regulation, pit exploration construction in water conservancy and hydropower projects must also comply with the provisions of relevant current national standards.
