Scope

This procedure is applicable to the acceptance of small hydropower station construction projects of various ownerships with a total installed capacity of 25MW and below and 0.5MW and above. The small hydropower project part of the comprehensive utilization water conservancy project shall be inspected and accepted in accordance with the requirements of this regulation. If the water conservancy hub project of a small hydropower project is large or medium-sized, it should be individually inspected and accepted in accordance with the relevant regulations of large and medium-sized hub projects. The acceptance of small hydropower projects below 0.5 MW can be implemented by the water administrative departments of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government after appropriate simplification.
