Scope

This standard is formulated to standardize the development of water-saving product certification activities. This standard applies to the basic procedures and basic requirements that certification agencies, testing agencies and certified enterprises should follow when carrying out water-saving product certification activities in the water conservancy industry. This standard regulates the three basic links in water-saving product certification activities: product sampling inspection, initial certification factory on-site inspection, and post-certification supervision. Certification agencies can choose appropriate certification models based on factors such as product characteristics and certification risks. The following basic principles are stipulated for carrying out water-saving product certification activities: national standards, industry standards or relevant certification technical specifications should be used as the basis for certification; administrative promotion should be combined with corporate voluntariness.
