Scope

This standard is applicable to the geological survey of small and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower projects and the survey of small and medium-sized hazardous reservoir removal and reinforcement projects. For medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower projects with complex engineering geological conditions and dam heights exceeding 70m, the engineering geological survey should be carried out in accordance with the "Code for Geological Survey of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering" (GB 50287-1999).
