Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

Technical dimensionCentrifugal pumpAxial flow pump/mixed flow pumpTube flow pump
Impeller clearance requirement≤0.2% impeller diameter≤0.15% impeller diameter≤0.1% impeller diameter
Cavitation reference planeFirst stage impeller outlet centerIntersection of blade axis and outer edge0.5D below the highest point of the blade
Vibration limit (mm/s)4.5 (vertical)/2.8 (horizontal)3.5 (water guide bearing part)

Analysis of key technical requirements

1. Hydraulic performance guarantee: The efficiency of the prototype pump needs to be corrected through model tests, and the correction formula is Δη=(Reproto/Remodel)0.16, where the Reynolds number Re=πDn/ν.

2. Material selection: The sand-containing water flow condition requires a 06Cr13Ni4Mo stainless steel impeller, and the hardness of the flow-through parts must be ≥250HBW.

3. Transition process control: The runaway speed shall not exceed 130% of the rated speed, and the transient pressure fluctuation shall be controlled within ±30% of the design pressure.

Key points for standard implementation

  1. Factory acceptance must include pressure resistance test (1.5 times the working pressure) and 72-hour continuous operation test
  2. When the sand content is greater than 1kg/m³, an additional wear life calculation report shall be provided
  3. Vibration monitoring points shall be arranged at the bearing seat and the inlet and outlet flanges

Standard evolution comparison

Main updates compared to the 2005 version: ①Newly added technical requirements for cross-flow pumps; ②Detailed cavitation margin measurement method; ③Changed vibration evaluation from displacement value to velocity root mean square value.
