Scope

This standard specifies the sampling, inspection, storage and transportation requirements for imported and exported frozen livestock and poultry meat, the determination and disposal of inspection results, and the validity period of inspection. This standard applies to the inspection of imported and exported frozen livestock and poultry meat. The inspection of fresh (cold) livestock, poultry meat and frozen meat products of wild livestock and poultry that have been slaughtered, cut and processed can be carried out with reference to this standard.
