Scope
This standard specifies the biosafety requirements for the detection of Ebola virus in serum specimens of suspected cases of Ebola hemorrhagic fever at border ports, the collection, transportation and storage of specimens, the processing of specimens, Sudan Ebola virus and Zaire Ebola virus Virus conventional RT-PCR detection, real-time fluorescence RT-PCR detection, and Ebola virus gene chip method and other detection methods. This standard is applicable to the molecular biology testing of clinical specimens from suspected cases of Ebola hemorrhagic fever for people leaving the country at border ports.
