Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for virus isolation, immunofluorescence test, RT-PCR test, hemagglutination inhibition test, IgM capture ELISA and plaque reduction neutralization test for eastern equine encephalomyelitis and western equine encephalomyelitis. This standard applies to the quarantine of eastern-type equine encephalomyelitis and western-type equine encephalomyelitis in inbound and outbound animals.
