Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements for the evaluation methods of standby and shutdown power consumption of electronic and electrical products, and proposes limit requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the standby and shutdown power consumption of electronic and electrical products. This standard applies to electronic and electrical products with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V, connected to the grid power supply when working, and oriented to end users. The electronic and electrical products involved in this standard specifically refer to household appliances, home (office) information technology equipment and entertainment equipment. See Appendix A.
