Scope

This standard specifies the ultraviolet fluorescence photometric method for the determination of total volatile sulfur content in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and gaseous hydrocarbons. This standard is applicable to the determination of total volatile sulfur in natural, added during production and processing, and final products with sulfur content between 1 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg. This standard is applicable to the determination of total volatile sulfur in liquefied petroleum gas with a halogen content less than 0.35% (mass fraction).
