Introduction

Analysis of the core technical requirements of the standard

This standard applies to the entire process of composite rubber import inspection, and focuses on standardizing the quality red line of raw rubber content ≤88%. The detection method adopts a dual verification mechanism of thermogravimetric analysis (GB/T 14837) and infrared spectroscopy (GB/T 7764).

Comparison of key detection methods

Detection items Standard method Technical points Judgment threshold
Raw rubber content GB/T 14837.1/2 Thermogravimetric analysis temperature range control ≤88%
Rubber qualitative analysis GB/T 7764 Infrared characteristic peak comparison Library matching ≥90%
Appearance inspection Visual inspection Cut section uniformity No visible impurities

Analysis of difficulties in implementing the standard

Typical case: Testing of imported composite rubber from Southeast Asia

In 2022, when Qingdao Customs tested a batch of imported composite rubber from Indonesia, the infrared spectrum showed that the characteristic peak of styrene-butadiene rubber shifted. After thermogravimetric analysis, it was found that the raw rubber content reached 91.5%. It was finally determined that it did not meet the requirements of GB/T 31357 and was returned for shipment.

Technology Evolution Background

This standard replaces the original SN/T 0000-2019 version, with the following major updates:
1. Added reference to ISO 9924-3 international standard
2. Detailed requirements for liquid rubber sampling
3. Clarified the calculation method for the 88% content threshold

Company Compliance Recommendations

  1. Prepare a complete ingredient list in advance (Chinese and English versions)
  2. Liquid rubber transportation must be kept at a constant temperature of 25±5℃
  3. It is recommended to reserve 10% additional sample volume
  4. Pay attention to the abnormal addition of silica to rubber produced in Southeast Asia
