Interpretation of the core content of the standard

This standard establishes the detection method for five psychotropic drugs, including oxcarbazepine and amitriptyline, in packaged drinking water. It uses liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) technology with a quantitative limit of 0.1 ng/mL, covering a variety of water matrices such as purified water and mineral water.

Method Validation Data

When the three water matrices were spiked with concentration levels of 0.1-1 ng/mL, the recoveries of the five compounds were all between 85%-114.5%, with RSDs <15%. The recovery of sertraline in mineral water matrix was the best (89-114%).

Implementation Tips

Sample pretreatment requires centrifugation at 12,000 rpm for 5 minutes and then filtering through a 0.22μm filter membrane
Separation was performed using a HSS T3 column (1.7μm) with acetonitrile-0.5% formic acid gradient elution
MS parameters for ESI+ source should be optimized, and the desolvation temperature should be set to 500℃
