Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for oil and gas drilling engineering well sites, the quality and safety requirements for the installation and disassembly of drilling equipment, and the safety requirements for conventional drilling operations such as drilling, splicing, and tripping during drilling operations. This standard applies to land drilling operations. Drilling operations on beach, sea and shore can be used as a reference.
