Scope

This standard applies to the design of vertical oil removal tanks for new and expanded oil field produced water treatment projects in onshore oil fields and beach-sea onshore oil fields. The design of renovated vertical oil removal tanks and pressure oil removal tanks can be implemented with reference. In addition to complying with this standard, the design of oil tanks should also comply with the relevant current national standards and specifications.
