Scope

1.0.1 This standard is specially formulated to standardize the application technology requirements for cathodic protection electrical insulation of buried steel pipelines and storage tanks. 1.0.2 This standard applies to the electrical insulation design, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of new and expanded buried steel pipelines and cathodic protection tanks. 1.0.3 In addition to complying with this standard, cathodic protection electrical insulation should also comply with the relevant current national standards.
