Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing and inspection of quick switch blind plates, as well as factory inspection, packaging and transportation. This standard is applicable to quick-opening blind plates used in the onshore oil and gas industry with a nominal pressure less than or equal to 16MPa and an operating temperature of -20°C to 80°C. It is also applicable to quick-opening blind plates used in other industries with similar working conditions.
