Scope

This standard specifies the classification and nomenclature, dimensions and main parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of cement heads and conventional cementing rubber plugs. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of cement heads and conventional cementing plugs used in cementing operations of oil and gas wells.
